Coastliner’s 840 route begins its journey at Leeds City Bus Station, calling at Tadcaster, York and Malton, before turning north to serve Flamingo Land Resort and Pickering, home of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. The bus then serves the picture-postcard village of Thornton-le-Dale before climbing onto the North York Moors amid spectacular scenery, visiting the moorland village of Goathland, famous as ‘Aidensfield’ in ITV drama Heartbeat, before making the descent of Blue Bank and the final approach to the historic seaside resort of Whitby.

Travelling from the heart of Glasgow onwards to the magnificent Isle of Skye the 914/5/6 offers a real flavour of Scotland. The route passes the shores of tranquil Loch Lomond, the brooding lands of Glen Coe, stopping off in the picturesque town of Fort William for Ben Nevis, we venture further into the west Highland countryside then over the sea to Skye.

Route 50 is operated with open top buses but in certain circumstances an ordinary bus may be used. If Sandbanks Ferry is closed for maintenance, the route will operate via Poole.

This is a bus journey you'll never forget. Route 50 takes you on a scenic trip through the stunning Sandbanks, on board the Sandbanks ferry and through the beautiful beaches and countryside that Purbeck is famous for. Not one to be missed!
